Started the day with a sunrise swim. Lake Poso is Sulewesi's largest fresh water lake at 500 meters. Nice warm water on a cool morning.
Our "rest day" included getting 13 cyclists jammed into a van followed by steep jungle hike with a swim at a spectacular waterfall.
A stop to taste some palm sap that is destined to be fermented into the local hooch and a picnic lunch completed the outing.
With the road closures the only certain way back to our hotel was by boat. The local guys had a bit of a problem budging the boat off the bottom but Colin said to let them work it out rather than get out and push to spare their pride.
Eventually they managed to shift us and it was a nice cool ride back to our cabins.
